Columbia 300 Traditions Bowling Classic - Fountain Valley

The Columbia 300 Traditions Bowling Classic (TBC) will be bowling THIS WEEKEND (July 29-30) at Fountain Bowl in Fountain Valley, CA.

First place is GUARANTEED at $2,500.00! Initial entries cost $99.00 with re-entries at $49.00. Bowlers who compete on the Saturday 10:00 AM squad can re-enter the Saturday 12:00 PM squad for only $29.00!

Besides the $2,500 guarantee, there will be plenty of brackets and side pots as well as guaranteed cashing spots for men 45 and over and women!

Also, there will be a 15% discount given on all Columbia product on-site at Barry Asher’s Pro Shop in Fountain Bowl. Come and see the new line of Columbia equipment!

I heard about these tournaments last week. I am very happy that someone (AND IT SO HAPPENS TO BE C300) is going to start something like this.

too bad the ball "deal" that they have at the tournaments sucks big time.
pay for an entry @ $99 then you can get an action packed for $149 from Columbia so you still have to pay for drilling and everything else. I guess its not a bad deal if you usually pay msrp for equipment.

Not a bad tournament though. I heard the Orlando one was pretty cool.

I hope the payouts are better for 2nd-16th so these don't start to die off.  Hopefully now that word is getting out the turnouts will be better.  With the lack of tournaments, anything is a welcome site and it's great that a company that's a big name in bowling is supporting scratch bowling.
