What Track cleaners/polishes are "must haves?"
« on: June 26, 2005, 02:31:02 PM »
I was browsing Buddies website to look for Track cleaners/polishes and wanted to know what 2 or 3 everyone with a Track arsenal and a ball spinner should have.  I have used Ebonite powerhouse products along with some NeoTac for all my equipment.  I am certainly not unhappy with them, and I think they are excellent products.  I was thinking Clean n Smooth, Clean n Dull, and Magic Shine.  Any input from users of these products would be greatly appreciated.

Don,

I like all of the products, but there are 4 MUST haves in my opinion:

1- Clean n Dull

2- Delayed Reaction

3- Magic Shine

4- Clean n Sheen

I like Clean n Smooth, but the products listed above would be much better to have. Get them, and use a worn or very well used green scotchbrite pad and that will get you close to the surface that Clean n Smooth will give you. I would buy the others, and add clean n smooth later.

Hey Raven,

I just help set up a friend with some cleaners and I suggested the following.

Clean and Dull
Clean and Sheen (puts balls to a matte or compound finish)
Clean and Polish

These 3 cover dull, flat and shiny.  However, it would be best to have them all.

You could probably find a use for every single one, but Clean N Dull and Magic Shine are my 2 favorites. You should see the GP2 I hit with Magic shine 4 times on each side, looks like a marble!
