Title: Track - Suggestions Please
Post by: john178 on June 03, 2011, 10:41:53 AM
I'm considering Track. I've watched a few people use Track and they seem to be very successful.

My current arsenal includes Total NV, Complete NV, and the Resurgence. All of my balls are drilled to go long and strong. I like the skid/snap reaction; however, when I let up on my ball speed the skid/snap reaction really hurts my bowling (a lot of splits). It's not very fast to begin with. If I can maintain a ball speed between 13.5 and 14 mph, I'm doing well.

I'm a medium track bowler. I've been told that my PAP is 5in. What ball in the Track line would be a good fit for me. My league mate suggested a 505T becuase of its smooth and consistent backend reaction.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Regards,
John Curry

Who knows what the new releases will roll like. You may want to wait and see.
If you want a smooth reaction, my first thought would be a 920t if you can find one. Buddies had them for around 80 bucks on clearance. This is an underrated very versatile ball.

If you are looking for earlier roll and a ball more fit for heavy oil, the 505t is a good choice.

The 607 is liked by many.  Definitely a skid flip ball. Oob I didn't like how it rolled. 1000 or 2000 polished and it is a totally different ball.

Those that can do. Those that can't complain. Pimpin ain't easy, but it's mandatory.

Most things we like, we don't need. Most things we need, we don't like. Don't confuse your likes with your needs.
