Track The Hex
« on: January 31, 2005, 08:51:32 AM »
Any of you guys ever throw this ball? My buddy in the pro shop gave me one yesterday to try, and I shot pretty well with it for being the first time-212 was the highest, and nothing under my average.

I'm thinking of practicing with it some more, and maybe putting it between my Inferno and Groove or Rev. Seems like a good ball, and just wanted some "good/bad" experience with it.  thanks.

For its time, it was a good, even medium condition ball for me. Never any surprises, just consistant to the very end.

One of the best balls ever.  If you had hand it could cover anything from mediums(and the higher side of mediums to a certain extent) to lighter 2nd and 3rd shift type of patterns.  Check out reviews for it and the Crunchtime.  They are supposedly the same ball.

It is the bowling gods gift to me. It's what got my avg over 180, its versatile for dry to medium, it hits well, very controllable, does not look to bad, got my screen name from the darn thing and I could keep going but that's ok! Love it get it going asap and go tear it up! O almost forgot 200+ games on it and it hasn't missed a beat (havn't touched the surface of it either, no resurfacing or sanding or anything, got to love that)

VERY good ball. I liked it alot. If I had not dropped weight I would still use it. I read the midlane well, and had a strong backend reaction. VERY consistant.

From what I've tried so far, it seems like a pretty good dry-medium lane ball. That's pretty much what I'm wanting it for, so only time will tell. thanks for the input you guys had. I'll take any other comments anybody has too.

Hey man i have one, and its a reactive ball, very nice on drier conditions. Mine goes pretty long and snaps real hard, hits like a truck. Mine is shined a little for some extra length. Its a good ball by track and im suprised i havnt seen more balls like it.

Drier?? snaps?
Is your ball speed about 20 mph at the pin decK?
Mine is drilled 4 1/4"x5", pinabout 2.5" above the midline,  ball speed about 17 at the arrows. I have used it for medium to medium-heavy oil. Very even arc-ing ball, very NOT snappy, non-flippy.

aaah! gotta give us those vital pieces of information, when we're comparing; otherwise, we're comparing apples and oranges. I left mine in box condition, a light polish on a solid/pearl conbination.
