The gradient line systems goes up and down your VAL mostly, and the p2 would be on the bowlers PAP.
The weight hole for the Tundra is 3" from my center grip, 2" further past the x-hole is my PAP. It may look deceiving in the picture.
This is the first time I have used this weight hole location, and I have been impressed with the reaction.
Most get hung up on the name that it is a reducing x-hole and think the ball will not hook. It tightens up the flare rings giving the ball more length and a faster response when it reaches friction. Too many people get hung up on more being more(especially in ball flare) and that isn't always the case.
The great thing about this is you can drill any ball up and use for a bit and decide if you want to add the wight hole or not after seeing the ball on the lane. It requires very little side weight in the ball because of it being closer to the bowlers grip center.
I know you have probably seen this video before, but it is worth watching again and seeing if it might be the ball reaction you are looking for.
