The Heat hit weak

Great vids, quality a bit low, but awesome balls!  EX, if you have time, do you think you could throw the balls exactly the same to get a better a better idea of how each of the balls compare?

How'd you get the vids on your computer? Did you end up just having someone burn them onto a CD?

I have seen better legs on a piano.lol

Just kidding EX. I did get to see how all the balls reacted.

Were all the shots on the same condition?

All shots were on the same lane and the same condition. If you look closely I put tape over my finger holes on every ball hoping you could see the roll etc...

Dino, the Heat hit weak and it was played with my ft furthest right. I played each ball where they had to play to score with. I figured everyone would get the idea based on the different lines with each ball. The GP2 had to stay in the oil or it would burn up. The 5.0, if I swung it further right into more of the dry it would burn up. Know what I mean?

Give the center a break fellas...it is the first bowling alley in the country to have been ABC certified. It was built in 1946.
It is our house conditions. 36ft buffed to 44, heavy in the middle and from 10 out it tapers to lighter oil.

PS- I video taped these at the same time I was trying something different with my approach. I have horrible right knee trouble right now. I talked with Rick and we decided to try something to lesson the pain a bit. I bowled pain free, but I was uncomfortable throwing the ball.

I have one more question. Were the balls all drilled the same? Could you give us an idea of how each ball was drilled. I did enjoy seeing how some balls could fit my game of down and in and how others would need more swing area.

I did keep them to compare and hope if I need another ball, it would be the right ball for my game.

Shipper,

GOOD POINT!!! These are my first vids posted, so I am learning as I go.

Heat: Drilled with the pin 5 inches from PAP, pin below the ring finger CG kicked 3/4 of an inch right of the center line.

Slash: 4x4, pin 2 1/4 above midline

Hexplosion: pin above middle finger 6 inches from PAP, CG in the center of the grip

Xception: pin below ring finger 4 3/4 from PAP, MB in right of thumb 1 1/2 inches down from the thumb.

GP2: Pin below bridge, MB on my VAL

Xception 5.0: Identical pin position to the GP2, mb 1 1/2 inches left of VAL.

Sgt,

I had an original Inferno before I joined staff, the 5.0 is much stronger for me!!!

I feel the 5.0 is going to cover med/heavy. Not quite enough ball (with the OOB finish) to cover the floods that the GP2 does. As you witness, it rolls in the mids pretty nice so it will handle its share of oil.

I agree with Ex about the 5.0. Even though I don't have any of mine yet, from the sepcs and what I have heard, it will be a logical step down from the GP2.

PS Ex,

Great job on getting some vids up. Same old Carl from a few years ago, effortless and pretty smooth.....

Hey, you should have showed a clip of you flipping a table

As a note for everyone else, West Side lanes is one of about a dozen houses in the Youngstown area, and is probably the toughest or 2nd toughest of all of them. Very nice house overall though once you see it in person!

Hey Sgt,

I can use mine for med/med to med/heavy.  Compared to an Inferno, the 5.0 is stronger by about a good 4-5 boards.  It also has much more backend also in comparison.
