tracks basic reaction
« on: December 05, 2005, 10:45:41 AM »
what's track's basic reaction?like brunswick rolls early, storm goes long etc. etc.I haven't thrown track since the synergy days,Loved the green and the ets.I'm looking for a solid with a higher rg to play on wood lanes medium oil wih dirty backends.most of the low rg solids burn up on me except for heavy long patterns.

I dont think Track has a "trademark" reaction. All of their balls react differently. And with the asymmetrical line, your drilling options are endless. Plus the covers adjust very easily.

As for a higher rg reactive ball, look into the Rule Delta 1 or the original Rule. Both can be drilled and prepped accordingly to combat the condition you are seeing. Another option might be the Solution PP.

I've always associated track with their Ayssmetric stuff.  I know, not a reaction but that's what I would consider their forte.

cheked out some vids of the delta and it looked good.I can't tell if it would be too strong in the mid lane for what I want but it looks good.I do put a good amount of hand in the ball with a high backswing and speed around 17 18 mph timed with a stopwatch.if that tells anything.I don't think my pro shop guy is to crazy about track so I don't think he'll help much.I want a solid reactive thats as clean up front as my hot wire but a stronger roll off the break.I play this house 35 feet,15-13 mark and around 10 to 5 off the break.polised stuff or up the boards results ten pin hell plus the track burns in up ten to five from everyone else.the back ends are very slick where spare shooting is a little tricky as the ball will hook and then skid the last 15 feet.it kinda makes me chuckle to see a hooking ball skid out on the last few feet.

if you have lots of revs, the Delta may be too much for you. You may want to check out either the Xception 5.0 or the original Xception for a Synergy type of reaction. Both balls get down the lane well, with the original Xception going further and having more backend...the 5.0 starts up quicker due to having particle in the cover and the quick spin time of the core.

Clint is correct.  I have a good amount of hand but also bowl where they put out a good amount of oil.  I have two Delta 1's and there strong as hell.  Great balls but you have to polish it if you want to use it on a med oil shot.  The backend is just amazing.
