On track's website is the hook rating how many boards the ball will hook in oil and in dry?

(I should have preceded this by) AS FAR AS I KNOW -
Nope. Lots of manufacturers use numbers of some sort to represent relative degrees of overall strength, of one ball within that same manufacturer to another ball by the same manufacturer. No reason to ever assume it means boards. Think of all the factors involved in a ball's hook: how can they standardize all of them?

Track gives an indication between its own offerings to show how much a ball should hook and where it will. I don't even compare Track vs Columbia vs AMF even though they are all together. Comapre within a brand, you are ok.

Curious. Has anyone taken stock into www.bowlingball.com ratings? I usually just wait until people start buying it, and look at comparisons to other equipment.
