Equation/Power Machine mini review!
« on: January 07, 2007, 12:39:48 PM »
Okay well here's my MINI review of how these 2 work together. I'm not too good at these so if there's something i missed then tell me and i'll be sure to add it! ..

Lanes Today: Carrydown a plenty! birthday party day, and there was a good deal of carrydown.. not much but a noticable amount! Not much oil in the middle.
Balls Used: Equation and Power Machine ONLY (those are the only 2 i needed!)
Lines used: Both feet standing on 20, shooting for inside 10.

Okay i was VERY inpressed today with both balls! Today was my first day throwing the Equation, and it impressed me more and more each shot i threw! I started off the first game today standing on 20 and hitting 8ish with the Power Machine and it was finishing very nice and hard, and exploding the pocket.. the Equation wasn't turning hard at all, it just skidding the whole time and wouldn't turn over hard enough for me, so that meant it was the Power Machine's time to be thrown. The next game everything was starting to change. The Power Machine started over hooking, so i pulled out the Equation! The Equation i was standing on 20 again like the Power Machine, but i was hitting around 3 and the Equation came back perfect.. nice and hard backend/arc shape. I couldn't be more happy with these 2 bowling balls, and i think the Equation is gonna be the first ball out of my bag anymore! If you have anything to ask, i'd be willing to answer! Thank you Track, and thanks for reading!

Brian,

These two make a powerful 1-2 punch.  How do you have them drilled?  What is your rev rate and speed?  On a fresh THS, I prefer to use the Power Machine for the first 2 games then switch to the Equation for game 3.  I can usually stay on the same line that I was using for the PM.  Let us know how you shoot with Track's "Dynamic Duo"!
