Can anyone tell me about this ball? A friend picked it up this weekend at a garage sale for $2.50, and was asking me about it. Not a lot of informatoin about it out there so i was hoping someone here could tell me a little about it and have they ever thrown one?

Ball was awesome back in the day. It got me into Track at the time, although the Elite was my first Track. Power plus cover I think. The core was reused and modded in a alot of balls. Currently in the orbit extreme. I so wish I could get a NIB Hot coral triton.

It goes long and has a smooth flip. Probably best for dry broken down shots.

I agree with rusty - awesome ball. It also had a mica particle load so it was considered a particle pearl. Good length and a hard but predictable arc on the back end.
It would probably work good for light to possibly medium conditions on todays shots.

I had one about 10 years ago, drilled to go long, good skid flip type reaction, unfortunatley it cracked and was left in the racks of the Showboat before they tore the place down.

Which one did he get? The original or remake? Anyway, either one its was a great ball. skid/flip MONSTER. Not a particle ball at all. Reative cover. The particle cover was used on the Threat. I have thrown both..(whimper)I miss mine , it cracked in half. Only used the remake for tournaments when I was tossing Track....9

I agree with Rusty and it was one of the best out there in its day. Also, the ball has sentimental value as it was the one I threw my first 300.
