Triton Heat

I need some help.  I have an old Triton Heat that I really love.  I would love to get it back to OOB Finish.  Could some one please help me with this?  Would love to know the condition.

I would think that the Heat Remake would have some similar coverstock characteristics. I do know the original Triton Heat was a shiny out of the box from stories I hear! Hope this helps! God Bless you and have a great week!

Shine it lightly with Track's Magic Shine, that should get it close. I suggest only polishing a little at time until you get the desired reaction.

Hey ear,

If I remember correctly, I think a few balls at around that time were about 500-600 and then polished.  If that produces too much hook for you, fine the cover to about 1000-1200 and then lean on it with Magic Shine.

Ten Pins is closest to correct.  Back then they would do most everything with 600 grit concentric sand, and polish with 2000 grit Degree or Magic Shine.  This leaves some "teeth" under the polish and helps decrease some of the over/under associated with reactives.

I sanded mine with 600 grit and hit it with a coat Magic Shine.  That's about as close a I believe you going to get it to the stock coverstock.
