This is the first track ball I've drilled up in a long time. The last being the KO punch, if that tells you anything. Anyway, I when 3 3/8ths by 2 3/4ish. The pin is one inch above my midline, weight hole on pap, surface at 800 grit.
I warmed up with Roto Epic Battle(see profile for drill/pic). THS, with heavy carrydown, anything inside of 12 never picked up a roll. First shot with the AR, right down 12, I barely touched the headpin. Moved 2 and 2, swish area. I moved out to 8 and had a good look. The AR read about 35 ft, started hooking and rolled up nicely. I shot 247 the first game, lost carry for 207 and 195.
It doesn't like to be bellied at all. Too much surface, too much flare to try that on this condition. If I touched outside of 5 it was dive left. So, I couldn't get away with much. Overall, I'm thinking this one will be good on our fresh THS and a great SS/tournament ball.
