True Stories...
« on: December 01, 2004, 01:12:17 AM »
Friend of mine buys a new ball every month or so. He lives in a hi-rise condo, about 15 stories tall. There is a nice pond, right beside the building. He normally would just leave the unwanted equipment on the rack at the bowling center. He had bowled really poorly one night, came home took the elevator up to the top floor, took two balls out of the bag and heaved them out the window into the pond. Problem? This happened in November after 911... A building resident was coming home, at that time. Called the police, told them that the building was under mortar attack. The police called the FBI. Field agents were there within the hour. Luckily he was not arrested, just had the crap scared out of him. I now buy his used equipment, at a pretty reasonable price, to boot.
