Anyone have both balls? What do you think of the two?
I was thinking of getting both but would it be too similar.
I have the Fear Factor for Heavy oil.
-
Don't need a Re-Loaded if you allready have a Fear Factor. Might try for a original X-Factor or Deuce.
-
Well I have never thrown either ball but what I have read here on the forum, the unloaded is not a very well liked ball and everyone has raved about the unleashed.
Based on that, go with the unleashed..

If they only made a ball that would carry that d*mn 10 pin..

I own the Unleashed and have thrown the Reloaded. I LOVE the Unleashed. I can't say enough good things about this ball. Smooth roll and explosive hitting power! The Reloaded just seemed to be a bit too unpredictable for me. With the Unleashed, I know what to expect on a consistent basis. Do yourself a favor and buy the Unleashed. I'm a high speed, higher rev player. Good luck.

You wanna bet me how much? Let's play!

Thanks for the reply fellas. I know the X-Factor series
look like they all have the same RG and Diff but the covers
are different.
The Fear Facotor is an early and arcing ball that rolls continuous which is good. But i heard the UNLEASHED would be a ball that would push down the lane more and have a more vicious backend. Maybe i'll go with an Unleashed then.
Also i have a Ebonite Vortex V2 Pearl. Do you guys think it would be a good idea to get an original X-factor to complement it like i would if i got an Unleashed. The X-facotr would push down the lane more and really have more backend.
Let me know!

Comparing the 2 of those balls is like comparing a chevy cavalier (Unloaded) to a Lexus (Unleashed). No comparison.
-
just because they both have "high tech/asymmetrical cores", and "very good coverstocks"....doesnt mean they float on the same boat.
two different balls, two different technologies, two different companies...TWO DIFFERENT CARS!
catch the analogy!
the only thing that you can compare is that the unleashed is a harder turning/hitting ball than the reloaded...

jabroni,
To compare them in better terms (still using the car analogy), I can say this about both......
The brakes on the Unleashed work much better while turning to the pocket for the explosive IMPACT at the pins. Which also means the Unleashed has a MUCh brighter light when the turn signal is activated.
The tires on the Unleashed are much better for when it encounters oil.
When the lanes are dry (like summer driving), you may want to put the Unleashed away because the high performance tires it comes with from the factory will make it turn far too sharply. In this instance the Reloaded would be the better choice because while the Unleashed gets great length for a dull particle, it will not get the same kind of length as the Reloaded, primarily due to the factory all season radials that Storm puts on it.
Now to the engine-----while both will get the job done, why would you want to use a 4 cylinder (reloaded) when you can have a high performance V8(Unleashed)? The insides of both of these will offer roll and impact (I am speaking of the core). Through everyone I have seen throw any of the morpheous cores, or the new Morpheous 2.0 and those that have thrown anything in the X Factor series, while both hit hard, the morpheous offers a stronger pin action than the X Factors(this differs bowler to bowler, but I am speaking in terms of everything I have seen, and from my own experiences). When running over pedestrians(pins), they may fly back with both, but the Unleashed will throw them in random directions.....and often making one fly into another.
In closing, you can get both of the vehicles at equal or close to equal cost, which would you choose? I know I want the Unleashed.
