Severe wet dry Crunch Time?

I am bowling on a severe wet dry.

Nothing I have is really working for 3 games.

Oh I've had a bunch of big games and a lot of low ones.  No good sets.

I've tried Sonic X too week.  Hot Rod too weak.  Columbia Ego too strong but will score.  Reaction Rip, might work.

Yesterday threw a crunch time.  Unfortunately right handed and one won't see much from that.  It looked smooth but I wasn't sure based on my weak righthand motion.

A friend of mine says that he has his drilled like 5 X 1 with weighthole on PAP he swears he kills this strong wet dry where the backends get so out of hand?

Note above pearls seem to be the choice in the heads.

Hey, I have a Hot Wire sitting NIB and have debated the drilling.

Note most solids are catching in the heads a little.

My Time Zone cg out almost works too!

Also my Hot Rod almost works but I drilled this lower medium flare ball with a weak pin about 5 inches which is usually too weak for me on a weaker ball.

It has no midlane at this house. Just goes straight and then backend. The way I have it drilled it sort of matches my Dynamic groove movement which is drilled stronger on it's weaker core.  Both go real straight then boom! Almost wants to work but not quite.  Note a Sonic X drilled 4 1/2 X 3 1/2 almost is a fit, it has some midlane but no area I was actually thinking the Sonic Boom drilled same way or redrill the Hot Rod to strenghten.  This shot seems to want a little midlane and a little backend, just not too much! The Ego is too much, but will react and carry!  I just have to be very firm and very accurate and fast for me!

If that Ego is too strong the CruncTime is going to be WAY too strong. At any sign of dry my CrunchTime with the pin drilled 5.5x5 takes off like a maniac.

For wet/dry I think the Triple Threat would be the better choice, it is alot less jumpy than most reactives but it has a little more backend "POP" than alot of particle/particle pears.

Again,  I was thinking of drilling the backend out of theCrunch time with a 5 X 1!

Straight up stacked I agree way to much.

Last week I almost had a look with my old sledgehammer 3 3/8 X 1.  Very smooth.
Needs less surface!

Very interesting!!!

This is sort of what I am seeing as is described.

REal weak cores do work if I'm perfect!  Sonic X!  1 board of area at the arrows!  Board 9!  That's it!

Stronger cores or medium strong cores will carry but are drilled close to flip about 60 degrees and are causing me to loose the pocket unless I'm really on.

Weaker stuff or medium weak stuff drilled weak won't do it!

A note to comments above.  I have a teammate with the Triple Threat, it is an almost not quite!!!  It just won't kick out the 10 for him a lot of time.  But he does have the pocket!

I've seen the Eraser Pearl Particle work on some days and I have a used one on the way.  I've seen a Riot Zone almost work but cover too many boards.

This IS a tricky shot, most lefties have given up and left, no lefty over 200!
Righties seem to blend it out before end of practice and have an easier time of it!

I want to beat it!

Anyone think a 2 x 5 drilling would be something that may work or stick more with the mb kick outs!

If you've got a shortish pin with low top you have the pin 2 1/2" from pap with cg towards your axis, works on my Elite pearl for control in the mids so should work on the Crunch Time(and Hex, and Pearl Stomp...)

Hey LuckyL,

For what it's worth, I redrilled my Mutant to a 1x4.5 mb, (huge)weighthole thru cg.  Created bottom weight for a very nice long and smooth overall reaction.  I use this strictly for reverses and O/U shots, the particle doesn't let me see spotty oil as well.  Since you problably have more natural hand then I do, I'd say the better surface to use is also something like a weak particle to stronger resin but mellowed out a bunch.  Just my thoughts...

Light Particle drilled pin under ring and cg negative and/or a Razor Wire drilled to arc with x-hole on axis hit with a grey scotchbrite pad works as well for me. I hate wet/dry but in these parts everyone says they are "over-walled".

LL, a 2x5 works GREAT on that condition! Use a stronger cover for a heavier wet, and a weaker one for a lighter wet area (some breakdown occuriing) and it will rock.

Got mine drill'd at 135degree's.Same problem at my house,I just move into 17-18 board at arrows out to about 8board at break point.Works very well.Pin above ring finger,cg left of centerline of grip(RH BOwler).It skids hooks then goes into heavy roll,then buries all 10 in the pit(When I do my-part right)
