my new dream ball
« on: November 06, 2005, 12:43:19 PM »
As many of you guys know from a lot of my posts in the past that I have always wanted an ANIMAL CORE with a reactive cover wrapped around it.  Well I have changed my mind.  I want an ANIMAL CORE with the PEAK Particle COVER wrapped around it.  What do you guys think?

I have been using my angular a lot.  The peak particle cover is freaking awesome.  This is a very versatile ball.  I'm going to be buying another angular in about a month.  I feel that the peak particle coverstock is the best cover on the market.

I would like to see how a hevier load of Peak would work as well. The Peak on the Arsenals are both light loads.....

No doubt about the Animal core!!! I love that ball, but it would be cool with a light load particle or a reactive cover!

What is "Peak Particle"? What makes it different than other covers? What is it's benefits, etc?

Brickguy the peak particle is a particle pearl cover that has the mid-lane of a particle and the backend of a reactive.  This is know joke.  Mine has a huge backend to it.  In fact it has one of the biggest backends I have seen from any ball.

The thing I like the most from the arsenal angular is the versatility and how well it performs on tough lane conditions.

chitown, how does it compare to the particle cover of the Xception 5.0 as the 5.0 flat out doesn't match up for me.

Hey guys,

I have thrown the Arsenal Aggressive and I have to admit that when I had it at first I had some of my best games but as wear and tear goes along with the process, this coverstock began to die on me. I took care of it as to keeping it clean, I even went as far as to try slightly polish it but that still didn't help. Gave it to a buddy of mine about 2 months ago and he has been tearing it up with it. No doubt a great ball, but there is something about particle covers that I can't put my finger on. The Rule GP2 when I had it also started burning up in the heads and sputtering out on the back end after about 25 games. I sold it as well a few months back also. X-Ception 5.0, I had two of these, again a Particle coverstock, also a pearl. Guess I'm just not cut out for particles, which is why I'm very hesistant about wanting a Robo-Rule because of what I have read thus far. Anyways, Track still rules in my book! I'm with ChiTown I would love to see a reactive shell put around the Animal core, I believe that would be very awesome. Anyways, God Bless you guys and this is just me putting in my two cents worth!

Steve that is strange; your bad luck with particles.  I'm just wondering if the lanes your bowling on just have dry heads or very light conditions and all of the balls are just burning up?

Brickguy I have not thrown a 5.0 so I can't compare the two.  If there is anyone out there that can compare the two please let us know.  The angular is a great ball and everyone should have a ball like this if you play on tough conditions.

Another good thing about the peak particle cover is that it hides some imperfect releases.  I know there have been times when I didn't get all of it on the release and it still performed like I did.  Just an awesome ball.  I have never thrown a arsenal aggressive but I have seen it in action.  This is another ball that I wouldn't mind buying just because of the cover stock.
