track uprising drilling suggestions

if i drill my uprising with the number one suggested drill pattern, what type of reaction can I expect.

My pap is 6 over 3/4 up, I am a stroker, ball speed 14 -16 mph. The ball is 2-3 inch pin, 2 1/4 top.

If u are looking at the number one suggested layout. With the pin one inch up from the center of grip and the MB kicked out from the center line at 45 degrees. Because of your PAP you will need to move the pin 1 inch right (left if lefthanded) of your center line. You need to do this because your PAP is out side the 95%. This layout will give you great length and a big backend reaction.

Move the pin but keep the mass bias at the same angle.

Yes, just have it layout out the normal way without the 1 inch move. Then the last thing you do is do the pin more to the right. This will theroeticly give you the "95% PAP messurments" reaction.

just curious. why do you not move both the pin and mb one inch from grip center? also, would this be a 5 x 3 layout?

It would place the Pin around 5 but the MB could be on the val, past it, inside it. The suggest layout on a ball for me puts the MB past my val, and I get awsome reaction. Now the reason you dont move both the MB and the pin is, because when you do the shift with the pin, the MB moves the inch also becaue of you using a degree for its placement. If you moved them both you would change the MB by 2 inches, thus moveing it out of the placement to give your ball the reaction that the basic layout gives the 95%.

The drill sheet says the mb should be 3 inches from the center of grip for the number one drill, with the pin below and in the center of grip. I am getting lost in the transition.

I understand about moving the pin one inch to the right which will put it 5 inches from my pap. what is not clear is do i keep the mb 3 inches from the center of grip?

It says 3inches but in terms of degrees it right around 45.
