interested in opinions on both balls from those whom have,thrown both .

I have 2 UpRisings and recently bought the 930T.  UpRising #1 is drilled 4-1/2" x 4", pin down, and I keep the surface at 800 grit.  This is my oiler and it still has a nice pop on the backend.  UpRising #2 is an X-out (5" pin) and is drilled 5" x 4-1/2" with a 2" pin buffer (pin up), at box finish.  I use this on medium to medium-heavy oil conditions and it is first out of the bag for my leagues.  My 930T is drilled 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" with a 2-1/2" pin buffer (slightly above and right of ring finger) with a weight hole, box finish.  I haven't had much of an opportunity to throw it yet, but it is a few boards stronger than UpRising #1.  If you can find an UpRising, I would get it.  It is easily one of the best I have ever thrown.  You may need to adjust the surface for where you want to use it, but the cover is adjustable.

I've thrown both with the same layout(55* 5" 65*) and surface (2000).  For me, the Uprising gave me a cleaner look in the fronts with a bigger backend than the 930T.  I found it pretty strange considering the 930 has some form of a particle additive.  I found the 930 to be maybe 2 boards stronger than the Kinetic Energy.

I've also have seen others throw it.  Overall opinion of the 930-not impressed.  I'd get an UpRising.

thank you guys for your input very informative .i have a rising and it ,right now is my dry lane and 10 pin ball. never really saw it for the first game fresh ball but i am needing just that .

I drilled up an UPRISING and a 930T and put the same surface on both (1000 Abralon). Drillings are very similar. With my style, game here is what I found.
 Uprising will handle more oil up front but will be very smooth, controllable on the backend. Great on the fresh with alot of head oil but when it carries down the ball will let you know as you will leave alot of corner pins.
 930T is an awesome ball on the fresh with a Medium Oil. This ball I can throw alot longer throughout the night as it still has great finish and continuation.
 Both balls have their own special spot in my bag, its just knowing when to switch.  Hope this helps!
