Uprising party huge success
« on: July 01, 2008, 03:56:49 PM »
Just got home from the party had a few beers and met the Track gang, very well run and the ball has amazing midlane and backend reaction. Rob Hermann personally laid out my ball super nice guy was impressed he made sure to ask all the bowler specs.

Would have scribed the ball out but did not have my exact specs with me so he used pencil, watched a few staffers throw it great think one was Mitch Beasley never got his name. Also watched a few regular Joe bowlers and it still made the turn hard on a Kegel pattern that was setup for the party.

Saw the Kinetic pearl it is in between the Kinetic and Kinetic Energy in length and backend, so not longer than original like i thought it would be.

Rob is pretty cool guy very helpful and liked him from the get go even after he found out I was the Nut from BR haha

The party was great. More bowling knowledge in one place than one could ask. Mitch was very cool and looked good throwing the new equipment. Carl Hurd is a great guy and very knowledgeable (as we all know). Track is definitely back as far as I am concerned. I will be buying at least 3 balls this month to go with my brand new UpRising.

BTW: Sacramento Kings owner and Palms casino owner Gavin Maloof (SP) is a very cool down to earth guy. Spoke to us for about 30min about the NBA and bowling.

Barry - can you give some more description on the differences you saw between the Kinetic pearl and the original.  I've been waiting for that one to come out but if the original is under the new pearl in terms of length (goes longer) then I may want the original.  any more info you can provide would be great.  thanks.

Is it too early to assign the Uprising a place in the current lineup or compare it to a current Ball (Track or otherwise) after the intro last night???

Since I never threw it all I can say it is very strong in mid's and back with the staffers throwing it. Honestly off of regular guys most throw the ball so badly they never made good shots to judge, sometimes it would hook up huge other times because of skill it was dart off the 3-6.

I liked the ball motion and can tell you I would actually buy this ball if not given one last night. The new Kinetic Pearl is beautiful the color swirls look great, it rolled pretty dang good I will buy this one now. Hearing from Rob Hermann that is earlier and in between both Kinetic makes me want it already. He said it is very aggressive pearl and from the few shots I watched that would be the case.

Funny thing rode down elevator with Gavin and he said he was not a Maloof, I knew  who he was I guess he was not in the mood to be bothered after leaving the party. I made a joke that dang I thought was next to a billionaire just to mess with him, so I started talking about another Vegas billionaire that I used to delivery too Brian Greenspun.

He said oh yeah I know that guy, I was thinking sure you do because all you rich guys hang out at high end events together. He was a not an A-hole but for whatever reason to me denied who he was, just letting you know my side of it which really means nothing anyway.

Chatnboy,
I heard about your flight trouble yesterday from Vicki the Track customer service rep. Please get in touch with her when you get a chance 1 800 438-1106. I have told her to send you a Up-Rising No Charge. I know this won't make up for your bad day but maybe it will ease the pain.

Exactly why I made the "It's about family" post a few months back.  This is just another example of how a first class company operates and takes care of their customers.

Im so glad people are brainwashed to thinking that if they buy a new ball they will carry everything. And its even funnier when im carrying with my 15 year old ball and they're going flat ten.

The party was great guys. Wish you all could have been there for the experience. I will be drilling my UpRising tomorrow to throw it over the weekend in tournaments. I will post a report on Monday. I wish I could trade the undrilled Complete NV I have for a Kinetic Energy.
