Title: UPRISING V KP
Post by: tedfields on October 24, 2008, 09:09:06 AM
For those who have both, how much of a step down is the KP from the Uprising?
Using the same layout and same surface prep.
Thanks for reading, Ted

I have both the Kinetic Pearl and the Up-Rising.  The Up-Rising I have drilled with the number 1 layout and the Kinetic Pearl pearl is drilled with the pin above my middle finger and the c.g. in the palm.  It comes out to about a 5 1/2 to my PAP layout.  The Up-Rising starts up much sooner and is about 6 boards further left with my feet (righty) than the Kinetic Pearl.  That is not to say that the Up-Rising starts up early and has nothing on the back because it is still very strong throughout the lane.  But long story short, the Up-Rising will handle more oil and the Kinetic Pearl is an excellent step down from the Up-Rising.

FOR ME the KP is about 2-3 steps down from the UR.
