UpRising Drilling for Stroker

I am a stroker who recently had an UpRising drilled with the #1 layout.  For me, this ball is going fairly straight on a THS.  I have a Kinetic Energy that out hooks it by a bunch.  I was really hoping that the UpRising would perform better in oil than the Kinetic Energy but not mine.  I have seen on VideoBallReviews that they use a different drilling for strokers than tweeners and crankers.  Has anyone else experience this same thing or have any other suggestions.  I kind of suspect that I don't have the rev. rate to bring out the best in this ball with this current drilling.

Work on the surface.  If you check previous posts, some Rising users, including me, had problems with the ball going too long.  The secret for most bowlers was to take it to 1000.  
I kept trying to leave my Rising with polish and around 4000 because I knew it would hook like crazy.  The problem was a different breakpoint on every ball.  When I hit it with 1000, I got some of that earlier skid/flip I heard everyone talking about.  Then it really started hooking!

Drill the ball with a normal asymmetrical drilling with the pin above the fingers or beside the ring finger with the mass kicked out about 2 1/2 inches from the center line.  The ball will perform alot better for you with your rev. rate.

I was told that 2000 grit is the best surface for the uprising in oil. I can't argue with the results. The ball is an oil eating monster on heavy oil. Check my review on it. Of course I set mine up double thumb.
