VIDEO: Track Machine
« on: March 10, 2006, 06:25:31 PM »
Here is a video of me throwing the new track machine.  This ball hooks less than I have expected but it clears the head very well and has a strong move to the pocket.  I will give you all an update once I get some more games on it. The video is just over 4 minutes long so dial-up beware.

Nice video
Hooks less than expected, what were you expecting, look really strong to me, especially in the back.

We have drilled a few here and they hook! Alot of midlane read and really nice backend Not too much but very readable for alot of our bowlers. The hit is nice too. I hope Track does well with it. We have sold a bunch of the seconds too and they are just as awesome but about half the price.

wow, if that's less than you expected i'd like to see you throw a ball that "hooks." looks may be decieving, but in the video it looks like that thing is a backend monster! nice looking ball.

Rolls,

You said hooked less than expected? Well, I guess for the rev-deprived like me, the way you hook the ball is like frickin' sick!  I also feel your pain on some of the 9 pins left in the vid...in league Wednesday night, I guess I left about 7 or 8 of them. Those Track balls hit way too hard! LOL! Excellent video! God Bless you and have a great week!

Thanks for the compliments.  Well when the hook rating is 42 I guess I just expected more overall hook.  This definitely the longest ball I have thrown in my life.

I agree. That ball does get down the lane pretty long before making it's sick move to the pocket. That thing is insane on the backend. Great vid. Thanks.

Nice vid. Reminds me of when I use my Crunch Time. Looks like you got the best look when you set it down around 17 out to like 4 and back. That line didnt leave you any 9pins from what I seen. When you played out with it you were coming in to sharp. That is why the 9 pins where standing. Other then that nice vid. I cant wait to get this ball. I dont think I will ever use it because of my hand plus that core will make to manny revs. Now for the guys on here who said they want some of your revs my arm is for sale to the highest bidder. I got at least 18 revs in the first 25 feet of the lane. LOL.

At 2 minutes and 10 seconds, the shot is from 24-25 at the arrows to around 4-5 at the breakpoint.  The ball makes it back to the pocket.  Not enough hook?  How much hook are you expecting?  30 at the arrows to 1 at the break?

I wonder how the reaction would have been if you drilled the ball with the pin higher above your midline; I'm thinking it probably would have backended/hooked more.  That video of your Arsenal Aggressive (vs. AR vs. AA) with the pin high is also just ... wow.

LOL....this proves a strong ball, a bad release and a WALLED lane condition = LOTS of Strikes...this should be the official video for what's wrong with bowling.

Strong ball? yes!  Blocked condition? Yes!  Bad release? No!  If you feel the only reason he is getting this ball to hook like that then you haven't seen his other vids of much weaker equipment.

I understand if there was a major out of bounds he would have had to play different.  How often does one get to practice on tough patterns and tape themselves?  I don't know of many houses that will let you throw out what ever pattern you want.

Just my 2 cents!

Chitown is right. You cant just go and lay a harder shot to practice on unless you work at a bowling ally or if you live with the guy who is the manigor of a bowling ally. So if you have a prob with the way he plays do watch him play, if you dont like the way this game is going try duckpin bowling. I mean if you want super hard bowling there you go. There has never been a perfect game in duckpin bowling. There has never been a 650 set in duckpin bowling. LoL.

That is just my two cents. (Sorry chitown had to barrow it.)
