Wow, I'm really surprised to see how well the 505 rolled.  Out of the 3, it looks like the 715 has the least room for error.

I think if I was competing with it, I would of hit the 715 with abralon for an earlier read or definitely play a little straighter.

Remember my layout on the 930 is 50x4x70.  A very long and not flippy for this layout.  I am drilling my next 930 today.  It will be around a 20degree x 20degree for maximum everything.

50X4X70 in my eyes is a strong layout.  The shots that you wheeled right destroyed the rack,  I don't know how much oil is in the middle, but those shots labored big time.

I have to agree with this.  For your 20 x 20, what will be the pin from pap.  Hopefully you will put this on video too.  That I'd love to see.

looked to me not enough oil for either the 9 or 7 but for the 5 it was perfect.

I agree with you six. The 930T seems to be much more of s rolly piece than the 715. The "mica" that is embedded in the cover, does this make it similar to a hybrid cover rather than a solid? Also the 505 (which I picked up by the way, excellent ball) is pearl cover, any of the other pieces pearl also?

I believe the 715A is pearl. I took mine to 2000 before I even thought about using it. 4000 with polish adds shelf appeal but it makes it too easy to throw it through the breakpoint. The 930 does need lots of oil. It isn't a ball you want to play 20 with, it is a oiler and it let's you know when not to use it. High mass bias balls, when they encounter too much friction and have strong covers like this, tend to hook less. On burn, my 505C out hooked the 930. On heavy oil, it is the 930T by a mile.

Agree, great job Ken.  What I saw was that the conditions were pretty burnt for Ken's speed to rev ratio.  (good eye six pack)

Good point...here's the explanation.  If the lanes were a little too dry for the 930, it actually used or burned up its energy so recovery was not as strong.

715 could store some but still too much for the condition (when it turned over) so it presented some O/U (as expected on some conditions).  It "is" the angular piece.  Add that fact in with some revs on friction....and this is what we get.

505 was nice because it is the longest ball with some control so it stored enough energy but didn't fly off the dry.

Remember guys, Ken did say this was the leftover shot on a Sun nite.  I think the balls acted accordingly.  Nice job Kenny..
