FreakOut......Xception
« on: November 04, 2004, 02:13:58 AM »
I know that the Xception is a pearl reactive and the FreakOut is Particle but everything that I am reading about the Xception tells me that maybe these balls may be close.....

...In close I am meaning how the FreakOut complimented the Freak and how everyone is saying the Xception compliments the Rule. A little longer and a little more angular.

So with the above stated I believe with the growing popularity of  Track that the X ception could end up being its best selling highend ball of the last couple of years. This is a very big statement considering the popularity of the Phenom Unleashed, The Animal and now the Rule.

Goo reactive is showing VERY good durability. Niether of my Rules are tracking up bad and they are getting some games on them now. SO A QUICK QUESTION TO YOU FOLKS------

Do you see a strong reactive (such as Goo) replacing particles in the future?

Yes i stopped buying as many particle balls unless they pearl particle balls, i look for high end reactives now like the rule, the exception which is coming from clint daley to me soon, the intense inferno and the bully series. My particle experience has like most of us been a big flop and waste of cash, 50-100 games of superior performance versus 150 + games of performance from the high end reactives changes your mind real quick.

No, I dont see these replacing particles for the simple reason that the reactive might still skid a bit too far on true heavy oil. The durability side of things puts a plus in the reactive column, but when you really need that extra bite in the soup, particle is the way to go.
