Ohio Inner City Tourny
« on: March 29, 2006, 11:41:16 PM »
Bowling in the Ohio Inner-City TOurnament next weekend (8th & 9th) in Toledo.  I'm planning on taking a 4-ball arsenal consisting of:
Animal (600)
Arsenal Aggresive (1000)
Xception
Desert Heat

Does that sound pretty solid?  I also have an Arsenal Reactive and a Mojo that I could switch out with something if need be.  Has anyone bowled there yet?  If so, what are the conditions like this year?

My friends from Salem went a few weeks ago....pretty easy to get to the hole from what I understand....buddy shot 809 with the Machine/Delta in team event....they said the pattern held up really well.

Hope Rev-O and I can say the same thing in a few weeks....we are bowling doubles...our average is 465 going in.....we obviously have high expectations.....hopefully not too high!

Ok I'm back

DC Tour about 800 sanded
Charcoal Execution 800 polished
Crimson Executioner 1000 polish
SLate BLue Gargoyle 1500 polish

Seeing as I am in the middle of redoing my arsenal, and griip work, this is all I have the is usable right now.

REV I'll have to stop in and check you guys out, seeing as I am only in Columbus.

I used the Aggressive for D/S in Feb.  and a BIG ONE for team, shot 2157 for AE.  You'll have short and heavy in the middle, and dry outside.  Its definitely a scoring shot.  I would have something shiny and something dull, both with strong backends.  That'll give you alot of choices.  My scores were 721(T), 747 (D), and 689 (S).

I would love to see you guys in action.  Unfortunately, I am in Springfield for the State that weekend.  Good Luck to you both, hope you kill'em, but stay just behind 2157 for AE.  LOL.

Bowled on 3/18 and 19....Very scorable shot for many styles.    Enough head and middle oil to give good hold and still enough backend to carry inside shots with recovery dry boards to the right. A heck of a lot better shot than I see at my house. Wood approaches..good shape, synthetic heads and wood for the rest of the lane with probable synthetic pin decks.  I shot 653 in team with a brand new never tossed Machine pin under ring and mb on val.  I was teased a lot and should have tried one of the others I hauled along, but liked the look, just didn't carry great and made a few bad tosses.  Shot 703 in doubles and 716 in singles, started with a 257 on the Machine and proceeded to use all the other 5 that I took; ending with a Big Block Diesel, pin next to ring cg kicked right playing a deep inside fall back shot for a 279 finish. Solid 6 pin rapping ten pin in the tenth that actually(yes others saw it)jumped straight up about 3 inches enough to see under it and came right back down and never wiggled. Didn't really feel like I bowled that well since a friend of mine on the adjoining pair started the double set with a 300/786 and then singles with a 300/723 using a Hawg Wild for the entire sets.

House is split in half and 1-18 seemed tighter than 19-36 for myself and most of who I talked to. Maybe they use two different machines verses hauling across the concourse.....nice center overall !   Al
