Personally I have been extremely pleased with the equipment Track has released over the last few years, but I am keeping this more towards the recent stuff.

What are you thoughts on the equipment they have released in the last year?

I have been very happy: The introduction of the GOO LS and a great asymmetrical piece in the Xception that any style could use. I remember the days of reading posts non stop that said everything was too strong, I think Track has combated that very well.

The new coverstocks, Peak Particle and Dual Particle have been awesome! Also, using the GOO LS as the resin base in a pearl particle.

Track has been doing very well with their equipment. What I like most is that everything seems to have its place and a purpose in the lineup.

Since 2004 was my first foray into trying Track, I'm more than pleased with what I've seen released from them. The Rule and Animal became a potent one/two combination for a lot of the heavy and medium/heavy shots I saw in tournament and league competition this year. I've also been very satisifed with the looks I get on the lanes from the Slash and Havoc, two highly underrated mid-price pieces in their line. I'm very confident that each piece I buy from Track will fit into my game.

I think Track really made itself a top contender when they introduced the Freak and Freak Out. The versatility of drilling those asymmetric cores is unbelievable. They have really outdone themselves since then. EVERYTHING they release nowadays is excellent. Whether it be high performance or mid price, they don't make a single ball that doesn't perform.

IMHO, Track is the best ball company going right now and they have been for the past year or two. Brunswick's Inferno line is good too, but they don't have as many good lines as Track does. They are tops in my book.

I truly believe that the successfulness of Track starts with the Morpheus core. The core has so many interchangeable parts that the core designs can vary for a long time off of the base of the Morpheus. The covers have really started to get good the past couple of years, especially the GOO LS and Dual particle. Then let the rest of the lines feed off of that, not that the Peak cover isn't breakthrough though.

What I really think they have improved on is the core/cover combos of their strong pieces. The earlier strong balls like the Freak, Mutant, Super Freak were just too much cover and I wasn't able to get much use out of them. They had a tendency to really burn. But the lower end stuff was sometimes not enough.

The Phenom changed all of that. That's the first big piece that I could throw on a wide variety of conditions. It didn't burn, it recovered and lasted a long time. Then came the Rule, Xception, Aggressive, X5.0 in addition to all of their great midline pieces.

I agree with EX, they all fit nicely into a lineup and Track has a variety of covers/cores (Power Plus, WOW2, PEAK, Fang) to find a reaction.

The equipment we have made the last two years have been awsome. I used to carry about three different kinds of balls with different patterns but now I carry almost our entire line to regionals. We have almost every amount of hook and shape of reaction covered in the line.

The thing I think we do best is listen to the consumer and give them what they want.
