Bowled while I was away....
« on: July 05, 2005, 02:50:26 AM »
At Montclaire Bowl around ther Glen Carbon, Il area. It was late Saturday...open play...was expecting a drier shot, especially during the summer. How about TONS of oil. Played straight up the boards, found a decent shot and bowled ok...a couple of 200s and 220s...couldn't get away from the 4-9s(left 6, plus a 4-7-9 in 5 games). Left no 10 pins... Pins just sort of went into the pit when you hit them, very few messengers taking out anything late. Had some pins slide across the deck and stand on me.

Good experience for me.

Ex....reminds me LOTS of Kay Lanes in Girard...the way the pins carry, the conditions, pins sliding across the deck in standing....

clint,

I think you would have left a couple of 10 pins if you were at Kay though
