what balls in track line up can compete with the big one and epic battle.

GP2 or Robo Rule, I think.

More than likely the Machine or Robo Rule. That's what my guess is.
-
Current line.
Robo Rule.
I am assuming you want something for oil. If you do, this is your ball. If you could find a GP2, it may be the best oil ball ever..hands down.
What exactly are you looking for in the ball?

The machine is no where close to the hook you will get with the epic battle and big one. I have had all 3 balls and the epic battle (box finish) will handle more oil than the big one and machine (box finish) put together..
I cannot comment on the robo rule other than the fact that I see very few if any of them being used in my area..

Ok to match them the machine would be more like the reaction you get out of the machine. The robo rule would be more like the epic battle.

i am looking for a ball that will be versatile enough to handle med to heavy long patterns. a ball that will not loose reaction and it as early as my big one seems to have. A ball that if the line i am playing goes away, burns up ,i will be able to move deeper and no that it will recover . As of right now my phenom is my benchmark . I can play it deep or down and in until carry down sets in ,( mine is polished),Its a great med. to med. heavy ball. I need a first shift ball for the heavy .Dont get me wrong ,the big one is a good ball ,the cover just doesnt hold up,I see i am gonna have to clean it after every set,I mean with the hot water and all, not just a wipe down, am i asking too much. Oh yeah I dont really want a particle. And as far as the gp2 being a ,"great oil ball",from what i have seen its the one ball i am glad i never got, never seen anyone shoot it on heavy oil with success.

asym. give you more options for specific patterns such as long oil.
get whatever the heavy oil ball of the season is from track. I don't keep up.I know that whaever is there will work when I need it.
drill it pin to pap 3.5 and the pin about 1 " above grip line. place the MB for the hook ahape you want. I tend to like 4.5 on this layout for strong arc.
in the past I get a nice even stright up the lane hard arc on long. for fun I tride this on a THS the ball flipped so hard I couldn't keep it on the pocket side. but then again it was just for pba long patterb , B I think.

It was a fine time for me - I was learning to fence, fight, anything anyone would teach me

As for the GP2 not liking oil, that must not be a true heavy pattern...the ball kills on the correct pattern. Trust me...my first one, 813 out of the box in league on the heavier pattern.
As for not wanting particle, you may have to wait to see what comes out for the new season around Bowl Expo time. While the Arsenal Artillery is the strongest reactive we have right now, there may be a new intro that is reactive. I don't know, but if you can, wait and see and then lets make a choice, especially if you want it to be able to handle the heavier side of mediums. Of course, if you can find a Rule Delta 1, that would also fit, but they are becoming scarce with them being discontinued.

Hey toomany,
Another choice if you can find one is our Arsenal Reactive. That ball is also pretty strong resin and can still be altered to handle even more oil. Hope this helps some...
