Delayed Reaction polish -- question
« on: September 29, 2005, 03:17:59 AM »
I posted this question in the Coverstock Preparation forum as a part of a preliminary review of DR.  Thought I'd repeat it here so you Trackheads would see it.  --  JohnP

The polish was in two distinct phases. The instructions said to shake thoroughly, which I did before use. One phase was a clear liquid, which served as a carrier for a white, greasy looking, solid phase. Is this what the polish is supposed to look like?

Hey JP,

Haven't used mine in a while but I believe mine is similar.

Clean and Dull - green gel
Reaction Plus -  soapy-ish
Clean and Sheen - org/brown with grit
Delayed Reaction - white pasty-ish
Clean and Polish - off white cream
Magic Shine - pinkish cream?...sorry, can't think right now..

Thanks, Rick.  I was wondering if it might have separated.  As long as it works, I don't care what it looks like.  --  JohnP

John,

I have gotten a couple of bottles that seemed to have separated....I left the bottle upside down for a few hours then shook it up pretty well and it was fine. Anything that sits long enough at a distributor could be likely to settle a bit.
