I just received a 1" pin Rising. I have a high inverted track (PAP 5 7/8" -3/8) so pin under balls have never worked for me. Could I get any use out of this ball at all? Should I just sell it to someone that can use a pin under drilling? Looking for all suggestions.

Are you able to swap it out at where you get your stuff punch? This would be a good ball for the #1 layout and perhaps they would swap it?

They don't do swaps unless you get it from them. I could sell it to someone and just get me another one.

jhutch769, It was actually given to me and I buy most of my equipment from the same pro shop for over 10 years so contribute or step off.

Drill the ball according to their drill sheet, with the pin under the fingers and the mb at 45 degrees. according to Carl, the Rising goal was short pins.
We have drilled many this way, no problem. However this ball may not live up to be the oil monster some make it out to be. You may need to adjust the cover from 4000 to 2000 or even 1000 depending on the shot.

If the top weight is low, you can even use some of the taller pin layouts and you might just need to drill the fingers a tad deeper. I used one that was right at 2 inch pin, pin is above my fingers, didn't even need to drill the fingers that deep. Started with only 1 3/4 top. You can always lay it out and scale it before you drill it to see if it will work.

Thanks for the suggestions. The ball is in the car so I don't know the top weight. My goal with this ball is a medium oil smooth rolling control ball. I have an oil ball and my Complete NV and UpRising cover the other mediums. I was thinking about putting the pin next to the ring and the MB just under the PAP.
