I shot my second 300 in 3 months with the Animal Untamed last night(238,238,300). This time as a sub in a house and league that I had never been in before. This ball has been a big surprise since I hated the Mutant with the same core. I actually didn't like this one with the out of box surface. I used Clean and Sheen then followed it up with a light coat of Clean and Polish. It is drilled Pin 3 3/8" and MB 5" from my PAP. This is my go to ball when the lanes break down and the Freak Out or Freak-A-Zoid is hooking to much. Smooth through the Heads and smooth consistent, arcing recovery back end.

If you can get this ball cheap on a closeout somewhere you should do so. I think this ball can be very versatile with different drillings.

Congrats! I agree, the Untamed is not appreciated as much as it should be/been. Great cover and core. Ball has a nice fit in the Track line for me. I needed another one after mine was ruined in a ball return incident, the second time it happened to me this year (first was an Unleashed with about 12 games on, big gouge out of the track).

I have only used my AU in two league sessions. Monday night, except for two errant shots, I was looking at a 300. It wouldn't have ever happened but I can always dream.

I had nine strikes interspersed with two open frames and only 9 on the third ball of the tenth.

If I can solve the thumb problem, hanging up, I think a 300 is close.
