Arsenal Reactive-take 2

Am redoing a thumb on one i just picked up, for me its layed out 4x2 with the pin next to ring and hole about 5" over. Cant see any reviews where people have used that layout though.

On the conditons i see now stuff that midlanes pretty strong is good for me again. At my old centre the AR i had was a bad choice on the poor wood surface, shouldn't have to worry now about the early burn and 10 pins i was getting there. Now i think of it the pin over ring finger layout with some surface that one came with was good but i tinkered with my stuff to much then!!

Well if you want a NIB 15 lb er let me know, it is short pin but top weight is good.

The AR was a good ball. If I remember correctly Rick and I both heard a very distinctive "hit" when that ball arrived at the pins.

Had a throw with it on 2nd day leftovers y/day, carry down up the middle from open play and not many dryer boards outside. With its strong layout i got a good 6' of flare. That and the light scuff from my green pad helped open up the mids and it still turned over enough at the back to slap out the back row.

It's way better in the heads than my other one was on beat up wood. I'll be using it at a centre with cleaner backs and more room to the right on Saturday/Sunday and ill let you guys know how it goes.

Once the Freakazoid is out of the shop with its 'good' layout again i'll have a good 1-2-3 punch of smooth/strong stuff with the Phenom, AR and 'zoid

Did alright with it on the weekend, snuck in a personal best 4/1005 block too!!. This house had worried me a few weeks ago because id stick 10 pins when covering a few boards so the AR was thrown up about 11-12 and its smooth reaction made it easy to keep it in play. Even covering not many boards as normal for me didnt affect the hit. Got caught out on some dry pairs in matchplay but it wasnt the balls fault, just me having a brain freeze and making lots of bad swings and playing bad areas.
