With a RICO layout, it stabilizes reaction or evens it out. So why would you want to do that with a smooth reacting ball like the Heat Blast in the first place? With the Inertia, a ball that grabs quicker by design, it may not offer you the backend reaction that you are accustomed to. You may want to consider the Equation or Solution Power Plus EX for this type of layout. Hope this helps some buddy! Also, I've included a link below to my Heat Blast vid. I noticed where you said you never seen it in action.

I agree completely with Steve Austin on his choices. Especially if you want to upgrade from your Triple because that ball also had a fairly strong backend reaction. When I did my Angular this way, it helped control and push the ball down lane much easier even compared to just having a smooth ball like our Blast.

If you go with the Inertia try to get a shorter pin....around 1-2 inches.
Personally for the Rico drill I think the Artillery would be best. It will roll and still have a bit of turn. The Blast isn't a bad choice either....but the Artillery offers more "bang" at the pocket.
