Which gets down the lane better on medium to light conditions with enough recovery to carry the corners? I'm struggling with the breakdown and moving inside. When playing inside the fourth arrow and my Havoc starts to hook early which would be the ball to go to?
-
The Crash will get down the lane better, but the Crunch Time has much more recovery, and I rarely leave corners when I am able to throw mine. I sometimes have to stand deeper with the Crunch Time than the Havoc simply because of the strength it has in the backends.

Hey DW,
AS Ex states, the Crash will naturally get more length and the CT is a little stronger overall. How's your Havoc drilled? My only concern is that if the Havoc is mellowed out and hooking too much, the CT may be too strong as well and the Crash would be the way to go. Let us know and we'll get back to you bud...

Thanks Ex and Rick,
The Havoc is drilled with the pin above and 1/2" to the right of my ring finger and the MB logo is below and 1/8" to the right of my thumb. From the PAP it is about 4 inch pin and 6 inch MB. it reacts really strong off of the dry but that's fine. I just need something that will get a little more length before it makes that move.
Let me know if you need more information.
Thanks again.

Hey DW,
I'd go with the Crash then, sounds like the Havoc isn't really drilled that strong. When I did finally did hit the Crash some(vs my normal fluff), it had a very strong backend movement. I also think the Crash would give you a little better seperation between from your Havoc making it more useful overall. Hope this helps bud...

I agree with Rick. The Crash would give you a little more space between it and the Havoc than the Crunch Time will.

Crash it is!
How would you lay out the Crash? Does the Crash have any pearl in the cover? I know Track likes to use the solid/pearl mix on the new covers.
Thanks for the help!

Before I would give a suggestion on the layout for the Crash, I would want to know what you currently have (if anything) in your arsenal that fits below your Havoc, and how is it drilled?

The only thing below the Havoc is my old Blue Metalic Sensor. It is drilled with the pin 4 inches from my PAP and the CG in my palm. It is for the extreme light oil condition. It will squirt with the slightest hint of oil.
-
I would go with a drilling that will retain most of its energy for late down the lane. If your Havoc has a 4 inch pin from PAP, I think a good layout for the Crash would be a 4-4.5 inch pin from PAP, above the fingers with the CG kicked out about 1-1.5 inches. This should allow for good length with very good recovery down the lane.
Goodluck,

Hey DW,
Again I agree with Ex, this will give you good length and good backend as well. Ex and I actually share the same brain, that's why you'll never see us post at the same time....lol.
