Best all-rounder?
« on: January 24, 2007, 11:43:00 PM »
Hi you "Trackers"...

as you can see from my sig I am mostly concentrated on one company... but I want to take some other company's into my consideration.

I already had a Track ball but that ball didn't work so well for me (Arsenal Angular... too much over under)

So here my Question:
What ball from Track is the best suited for meds but can also take some more oil and still will be playable on the drier boards?
Why?
Cause I only wanna take one ball to training... so I need the most versatile Track ball that is there.

Thanks

NIB: Dirty Bomb

Have fun and bowl well!

and by the way... I am a "Fritz" a "Jerry"... I am from Germany! (And please don't call me Kraut! Cause then I call you Dumbarse)

If you want a versatile Track ball, you should be looking at the Inertia or possibly an Equation.

IMO the most versital ball is the normal machine. I have seen it used on so many conditions. I have seen it be someones heavy oil ball, and then watch it used as someones lighter oil ball. The machine is just so versital with its cover. The fang ls and the robo core matched so well together.

and I said "PLEASE, I ONLY WANT TO GET ONE MORE BALL." he responded "THAT WAS WHAT 12 BALLS AGO." I said back "WELL, YA BUT THAT IS NOT THE POINT."

Best all-rounder?  I think they're all round.  At least they're supposed to be.

HEY GRAYSON!

The most all around piece I have been able to use on a variety of conditions is the Equation...I'm currently on my second one and I have two more stored back for future use...I have been able to use this ball on a typical league three game set...definitely performance with a price tag that isn't hard on the wallet in my opinion! Hope this helps buddy! God Bless and have a great week!

Grayson,

I like the Inertia for what you are describing.  This ball is my benchmark.  I have it at 1000 Abralon and it handles medium to medium-heavy no problem.  With the drill I have on it, it has a nice transition from oil to dry.  It never "jumps" too much for me.  It has become one of my favorites.

Thanks folks!

Friend of mine will maybe sell his Machine to me... so at least there has been one "hit"

I'll see what's coming... till now my Tsunami was my "out of bag" ball but is leaving me in the lurch lately.....
that's why I am asking.

Thanks again!

So

Equation or Machine

(I also asked in other company's boards / boards for other companys.. I will let you know when I get a Track and how it works.)

I agree wtih the Machine....just becareful of the MB location. The PSA is very strong and if it is placed in the wrong spot it can look really bad for someone.

If the Angular was O/U for you then I would not suggest the Equation...it has a little more skid and bit more flip....in my opinion.

I would go with either the Inertia or even a Power Machine. Another ball to consider is the new Phoenix-------------VERY nice ball.

I got my hands on two machine-deals now and hopefully I will get one... then I can try how good the ball works for me.

Thanks again for all the input.
