Title: WHOLLY CRAP!!!! DEL WARREN JUST CALLED ME!
Post by: Tweener92 on July 07, 2006, 09:50:28 AM: As you guys saw in previous post that I won a ball from Track in the Ball-a-day give away! Well this morning I posted here telling you guys what I picked and asked for layout suggestions, Well not 10 mins ago, I received a call from DEL WARREN HIMSELF congratulating me on winning and he gave me a layout based on the info that I just gave him! THAT IS FREAKIN AWESOME!!! Next to me son being born I would have to say that this ranks up right up there with the one of the best things to happen to me! I felt like a little girl at a freakin N'syc concert!!!!!! lol

Post by: themagician on July 07, 2006, 06:07:28 PM: Wow another reason why I will be getting a track ball soon, the support of the Company and meeting Del in person was a great expirience, I went to a track clinic but was short on money otherwise I would have gotten a ball, man hes a great guy.

I won the ball for June 25 and Del called me and congratulated me and wanted to know if i needed a layout for the Mean Machine that i ordered today, but i told him we would get a layout in two weeks when he comes to our bowling center for a seminar! That is a really nice personal touch from a very super person!

Post by: jhutch769 on July 08, 2006, 02:18:10 AM: Del and Mo swung by our center on their way to Lansing to help us out with our lane machine problems. They showed up around 7:00 pm or so and didn't leave until about midnight. Del laid out a Freak Out for me (which cracked a few days later and he replaced ASAP) and Mo fixed up some patterns for our lane machine. Del also gave an impromtu<sp> clinic for a few of our open bowlers. All they asked for were some drinks and a place to stay, so we put them up at the local Amerihost and kept the "tap" open.

They are great people.

Post by: El Capitán on July 08, 2006, 03:56:44 PM: yeah, keith, i saw that earlier. pretty cool! My suggestion is that you get the Machine. I told Del that it's the best ball I've ever thrown, and out of the 10 or so I've ever owned, it's true.

It will only let you pick a few, cus it depends on the availability... you can't get ANY of them, cus some they might be out of, e.g. the Exception 5.0
