Hey guys....
I know I've been hiding in the dark lately, but here's a mini review on the Slash.
PAP: 6" 5/8 up
Drilled the Slash negative for the controlled length and even backend for lighter conditions: 6 1/4x5 1/4
I have my dry heat set up the same way. I decided to use this drilling one the Slash, because for the most part, the conditions that I usually see out here demand a "up the boards" play. I altered the surface, using Track's Clean and Polish giving it a medium coat.
Used it for 2 games only, and BOY does this ball ever hit. On a standard TH house shot, the Slash started reving later down the lane, skiding about 50 feet down before it breaks with an even(not snappy) transition. I tried about 5 different lines moving left and the Slash just recovered. Playing "down and in" was not the greatest on this particular outing, but I wouldnt doubt this ball on dry/demanding lanes. My games were 221, 239.
Once I get more time out with this ball, I will give a full review. Like wise with my other equipment. Look out for reviews on the Sheer Havoc, FAZ #2, Exception and Hexplosion.
