If you need to plug and redrill, and resurface it, at this point you will add about $50 to the cost, putting you around $90 total. For that much, I would say look into adding a few more bucks for something new. If it does fit you, then you will probably only have less than or around $50 in it, then I say go for it!

Hey nebowler,

Make sure the finger pitches are the same as yours, have them checked out.  If your pitches are different, the ball will not only feel different but may be harmful to ligaments/tendons if you had reverse and his are pitched forward.  It will end up putting a lot of strain on your hand that wasn't meant to be.  Better to be safe then sorry.....

Another good point, what the Animal did for you friend it may not do for you. Asymmetrical equipment is drilled (or is supposed to be drilled) according to a particular bowler's style and game.

Just a point to keep in mind.
