Going to drill some stuff soon and still have a new 15lb Track Synergy Pearl and Synergy ETS sitting in the closet. I thought it would be great to drill one up, then started thinking maybe not. You don't see these new anymore and it might be worth holding on to.

So I was curious what others think, yeah or neah?

First,
Not all of "you staffers" get balls for free, drill them, bowl 3 games and sell them. 1st off...if you know anything about staff contracts, you would know that you MUST destroy or get rid of any balls that were given to you under contract once you are done with them. It's against your contract to sell or even give away your used equipment.

2nd,
I don't just say B.S. I speak my mind. If I do not like a ball, it won't get a good review. If I like a ball, it will get a good review. Maybe MY review won't mirror someone else's review but that's why everyone is entitled to their own thoughts.

3rd,
Cry like a baby? I have no reason to cry or hide. I don't need to sit here and type out my resume to you or anyone else. I don't run or hide from a challenge.

4th,
We don't try to "fool" anyone. If someone has questions, comments or concerns about a product, we will do our best to help them. It's people like you that make that nearly impossible because you are such a negative person. (remember the 715A debate?)

5th,
Those were RECOMMENDED drillings! Every ball comes with a drill sheet with various RECOMMENDED drillings. If you sit there and think that there was only 1 way to drill a Rising, UpRising, or SE, you shouldn't be in the business! Maybe they changed the recommended layouts to be a little more versatile!? A little more professional, since people complained that "you aren't suing the bowlers PAP for this drilling, or that drilling". "how do you know it's going to roll good for different styles". That's B.S. for you!

If it''s soooo great, then why are you even thinking about selling it....(cause if the money is right I would rather sell it then drill it...also looking at buying an M4 tomorrow and the money would be useful)

Where you bowl, in the desert....(millennium bowl, Jigsaw polished maybe a game then onto the Avalanche pearl. The two tournaments in Tulsa a month ago Avalanche Pearl and Cold Fury all 12 games. Midline equipment rolls great who needs grit)

I''ll bet it clears the heads and turns the corner and kicks out the 10 pin...(doesnt everything, where do you bowl the left side?)

Thunder, you have a short memory...Carl, you remember him... Said this is the way to drill the Rising... He drilled 4 that way....

And the Rising drill sheet only recommended one drilling...

The Uprising drill sheet was changed....

Now of course there are boo koo ways to drill the balls...

But their drill sheet said, that way, and it didn''t work...

Now you and the closet ball king can continue on with your B.S.

Buy the ball already for $200... ya right...

And then a few weeks later, bingo, there is a 920A....

Maybe you remember the HYPE on the 715A...

Extremely angular on med heavy to heavy oil.....

Now give it a rest staffer... The 715A could not on it''s best day handle med heavy to heavy oil...........Notice the 920A is at 4000 instead of the highly polished 715A..

You beat all....

And it''s pro shops like me that have to explain this to the real bowler forking down their hard earned money for a ball...

Yes the ball was released in 93-94 and probably is still great today seeing that it has a very dynamic core and strong pearl cover.

I imagine drilled would fall mid line with most of todays bowlingballs. I know where I bowl it would be great and would also work well in most tournaments I've come across. Most of my big hooking new stuff stays in the bag unfortunately.

But I sell the entire line of Track balls... And the new line is doing well in my shop... of course the first thing we do is toss those drill sheets....oops

I've already talked to t835 and if I buy an M4 tomorrow I will sell him the ball and drill the ETS instead. I've never thrown the Green Synergy but loved the ETS so its win win for me.

Why is it hard to believe the my big hooking equipment is in the bag? Is it because you have to throw it all the time? I don't, and usually go with something pearl or shinned up playing middle out. Even shinned I must admit my Jigsaw is a hooking beast of pin destruction.

Maybe you misunderstand what I type because you are you. I didn't say this ball was the end all be all of bowling balls today, but that it would still roll great on todays conditions and be very useful, only not sure if I could bring myself to drill it, or sell it or just hold on to it. I think sell it may be the option.

You have to understand where I am coming from. As a staffer, I have to support the brand. I like every ball I have drilled so far. I have no complaints, but that doesn't mean there won't be complaints or issues. I represent a very strong brand and I am proud to be able to say that...So, that said, when I see someone with a problem with the Track brand, talking badly about the brand, down right bashing products from the brand, it's part of my responsibility to stand up and say something. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

the league I bowl in doesn't have pots. Is that a hole? If I sell the green and drill the red is that a hole?

Would you also say all old equipment is not good on todays conditions because it is old?

Why are companies releasing urethane equipment? Isn't that old, probably rolls bad on todays conditions. Is that a hole?

Your killing here.... You remind me of a customer I have... He buys 10 -15 balls a year... One day he is talking to another customer who is a "MONEY" bowler... He tells him how he shot 767 in league... The "Money" bowler says, "how much did you win" He replied, "I don''t get in the pots" And the money bowler replied, "your killing me here, you buy 15 balls a year and you don''t get in the pots"

So I guess you bowl for the love of the game.. That''s cool...

Now as for the old balls, if you think they match up, then why in the world would you not use them................... hello is anyone home here..

Or do you just like to impress people by saying "my hooking stuff is too much"

Now as for all these urethane balls... Check out the sales stats from any major dist. They are not the top sellers.......

The top sellers since July... Virtual''s, Widow''s, Riegn, Jigsaw, Mutant..

Now correct me If I ''m wrong, but the only Urethane that I can think of is the Natural... I''m sure someone else has one, but since no one is breaking any doors down asking for them, I don''t pay much attention to them.. You see, I like to focus on what is selling.....

There is probably 3-5 urethane balls out right now.

I bowl a few tournaments a year (4-5) and before my average gets to high I get in on virtual tournaments.

The part you misunderstand is for many this is a rare ball that many loved and may not have had back in the day.(such as myself, I was in juniors and didn't have $160-180 to spend)

I have no doubt this ball would fall in the middle of the field for todays pearl bowling balls. Which would be great where I bowl and the two tournaments I've been to so far this year. Thunder is familiar with the ball and thinks he could get good use from it so thats two people who think its worth while.

The question was drill or save, and the option I didn't put was sell. For that kind of money I would rather sell. Why, I still have 25 other balls I can drill so why not. (Including the Red Synergy ETS which I did own.) Same for the Sapphire Zone. I loved the original sapphire zone and found one new in the box perfect for a USA Pattern. Then I see one go for $200 on ebay....I love the ball but for that kind of money I'd rather sell. That paid off since it went for $300. Some one really loved that ball more then me.

The reason I have so many bowling balls is because I can get 3-4 for the price of one in the proshop. Morich awesome Revs X 2 and Finish X 2 for $210 shipped, four overseas zones for $200 shipped ect ect. So I figure why not, I just didn't drill them as fast as I thought I would. Sold many here and there and am still ahead because I had so little in them.(thanks ballreviews and ebay for that.)

Oh and no one is impressed by saying my hooking stuff hooks to much. Where Im at we all bowl on the same shot. Jigsaw gets a game here and there all the pearls fill the rest.(avalanche pearl, kick zone, High Voltage, Kinetic Solaris, Cold Fury or what ever goes that day)

So as it goes I got my M4 today and will sell the Synergy Green Pearl. Thanks to jls for the starting price.

Kidlost....You are amazing... You see most people I know bowl for money....

Why pay $25 to bowl 3 games... You can go open bowling for a lot less..

So I assumed by the way you talk, that you were a bowler who bowls for money..

That is why I said, "if the ball is sooo great, why not drill it up and maybe win big bucks in pots" why sell it for $200 when a good bowler could easily make more then that with a good ball... Especially such a rare one...

And then you said, "my league does not have pots"
