What will the lane conditions be like???
With fresh oil before the 7 something doubles/singles, will there be a ton of carry down???
Web site says oil 3 times a day, once before early D/S and before each team event.
Could i expect the lanes to be more open with less bowlers, or will i find no area?
I know that it depends on who bowls before i do, but what has been your experience?

I bowled that squad last year, and it all depends on who you cross behind.  Show up to the lanes a good hour before you start and scout where the people in front of you are playing the lanes and with what.  You only get two shots to get loose, so use their ball reaction to give you a hint on where to start.

Good luck!

i also bowled at that time last year and the pattern played pretty well. we had to move after a few frames each game, but nothing out of the ordinary. Russell was right when he stated that it really all depends on how the bowlers before you play the lanes. if they spray it everywhere, it can make for a challenging day. if they play the pattern the right way, then you have a better chance of finding something quicker and scoring a little better. good luck to all...

Thanks BigB for the kind words.  For me last year we had a group of classified bowlers throwing plastic up the middle.  It made our doubles pair VERY tough.  We had early hook/late hang...by the end of doubles it had begun to finally open up.  We moved to another pair and it turned into league as long as my ball speed stayed soft.

Good luck!!!!
