are test balls legal for usbc tournement

are pre released balls i.e. test balls legal for use in tournements ( USBC )

If they are not on the approved list, then they are not legal for use in league or tournaments!

they arent, no usbc stamp on them there ultra rare balls, I have one, it has no labels, no usbc stamp although it does have a serial number

i found out that the ball should be cleared later this month, and that when it does get cleared from USBC then the test ball will be legal

that was L1's answer

If it doesn't have the USBC stamp on it, I doubt they will let it pass, approved or not. That was part of the new rule, any ball made after a certain date (now sometime in the past) had to have the USBC stamp. I think Lane#1 is incorrect in the inforamtion they gave you. Check with the USBC, goto bowl.com and ask the question in the USBC CHampionship forum, there you will get the real answer. I might be wrong, but from the info I have read I don't think I am.
