I finally made it to a computer.  After 5 days being away from the event and enough thought of the situation, I have come to a conclusion.  I NEED PRACTICE!!!  LOL.  Anyway, my experience was what I would think it should be.  Tight conditions and equipment that would hardly move.  Even though I dreampt of multipible 900's, it was not the case.  My best series was in the 460 range and that was on the team event.  It slowly went downhill from there with a disappointing 11X game in the double/single event.  My highest was 174 in team.  The lines were tight and my accuracy was loose.  I tried sending the ball straight up 10 thru up 7 with minimal success.  Tried swinging 12-10 and left a little more with even less success.  I even tried straight up 13 board with a little hook at the end, but no luck.  My best game, but not highest was the last game of singles where I broke down and use only spare ball straight at the pocket.  Missed only 2 spares for a 160 something, but with such a small score it showed that I had only 2 strikes the whole game and none together.  I missed numerous easy spares and some big splits.  Had lots and lots of multi pin spares throuought the whole tournament.  If I missed left 1 board the ball did not come back and it was the same the other way.   I thought about buying a new ball, but money came up short for this trip.  Oh well, maybe next year.

Just to let you all know, make sure your entire team is there the DAY BEFORE the event so you will not end up like me.  Check the end of the doubles standings an you will see why.  Yes my partner did not show up like he was supposed to.  He even bowled with my team the last 4 or 5 years so he was notified by the captain.  Next year I am promised will be different.
