If you have any helpful hints or discounts you ran across while booking would be greatly appreciated.
Personally we booked Southwest with one stop from Albany NY to Reno for $198.
They have been running specials on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday flights for $39-$99 per flight. Meaning each side of the ticket departure and return will cost between $39-$99.
We have also found if you did 2 stops the fares to reno were 50-60% cheaper.

I'm not positive where they went to get our stuff booked, but we're flying out on a Thursday and coming back Tuesday. $347 covers our ticket and hotel the entire time. We're on Frontier Airlines and we're staying at the Silver Legacy.

One tip, is that it gets expensive to carry all your gear on the plane. Some people find out the address of there hotel, or wherever they are staying, and mail all there gear to there to be held for them. Depending on HOW much you bring it could save you a few bux if you send it fed-ex ground, or what not.
