Any decent deals?
« on: March 24, 2013, 09:27:02 AM »
For those of you that have bowled in Reno, I know it's early but is there any deals at the equipment booths?     I'm leaving Monday morning and interested in what the prices are this year

Lol I paid 240 for a marvel pearl, fit like crap too! Great job to say the least! Jk...a couple of the booths ball drillers need to lighten up too....sheesh..nothing like drilling equipment for a company on the national level and acting like you hate your life..

That being said ill be going to party! Haha...

I bet the hammer booth will have the best deals, they always do..just wish I matched up with them a bit better. .

The storm booth seems to always be the highest outthere.  Their customer service has always seemed pretty lousy with my experience with them.  The hammer booth is always been more reasonable priced and the service is good.  Me personally have had great experience with Kyle in the ebonite booth, and Frankie May in the visionary booth

I really enjoyed talking with bill in the Motiv booth. Had a great discussion and he knew going into the discussion that i wasn't buying.

There were good deals at the Ebonite booth.  Ended up buying a Track 811C/T from them.  I've actually bought something from them the last 3 years.  Was going to pick up either a Cobra SE or King Cobra...didnt see their booth anywhere.

Willie and Frankie May are in the Motiv booth. I don't think there is a visionary booth this year.

Frankie is still still visionary he drilled me a ball and sent it to me! I went down last year and he drilled me 5! They work like charms I recently turned 15 and I threw my second honor score this year with the help of his drilling and visionary equipment!

Just got back from Reno.  Picked up a few balls from Frankie and his crew.  Good prices on the equipment in there.  Picked up a Motiv Thrash for my wife and then got the Raptor Attach for 159 slug and fingers included.  The Raptor was originally 219.  Great group of guys there and they know there stuff.

I've personally known Kyle for about 15 years. Bowled Adult/Jr. leagues with him in Vegas. Saw him come up from a bright-eyed kid at the pro shop at Sunset Lanes in Henderson, to moving up to K&K, to now running the Ebonite Booth for K&K. The guy knows his stuff, and I've trusted him with my gear since '98. Always get great deals from him.

So +1 for the Ebonite booth, as well as the Hammer Booth. Those have always had the best deals for me.
