Balls for nationals.
« on: April 01, 2006, 09:33:05 AM »
Well, its that time of year again.  I fly down to Corpus Christi tomorrow morning and I'm still deciding on what to take.  Right now I've got 4 set, deciding on a 5th.
For sure:
C300 Formula
C300 Rock Star
Brunswick Impulse Zone
Brunswick Power Groove

The last slot I'm undecided on, its a toss up between my Freak Out or the El Nino.  I've had success with the El Nino at Nationals before, but lately I've had issues getting it off my hand limiting my consistency with it.  The FO is getting the same way, but I really like the reaction I get from the ball.  I can't wait to head down there, should be a good time with or without good bowling.

If you have had success in the past with the El Nino, why not just get it worked on while at the tournament to resolve the problems you are having getting out of it??  There are plenty of good people working in the shops there that could help you out...

I leave next Friday and bowl on the 10th and 11th.. Here is the arsenal that I will be traveling with...

Lane #1 Cobalt Bomb, Tsunami, and H20
Storm X-Factor's Trifecta and Ace, and my Fire Diablo
Brunswick Miller-Lite Spare ball...

The Trifecta and Diablo are more for the side events than they are for the National shot..  I feel a couple of nice sets coming out of my Lane #1 stuff at Nationals!!

If at first you don't succeed

Throw another ball!!
