Doesn't she work for USBC? She is currently in 4th place for doubles. I thought those guys weren't eligible for the Open this year.

Man, you're full of your own delusions. First of all, Chard Murphy turned me down for like 5 jobs at USBC back when I was still in TX, so while I like some of the things the guy has tried/is trying with the organization, I'm far from his biggest fan. Second, you don't bring new perspectives; you bring the same old "USBC sucks and everything wrong with bowling is USBC's fault" perspective to every conversation. I bring different perspectives. I respect and praise them for some things, and I'm willing to criticize them for others.

Pros, whether regional or touring, have to bowl somewhere when they are not competing full time.  There have been local tournaments I have bowled where PBA regional guys have entered.  They do not always win the whole thing.  Heck, they have even entered no tap handicap tournaments and not cashed.

The USBC makes it clear that employees can bowl, but can't cash.  Seems like a fair deal.  It all boils down to accepting that professionals might be bowling and taking the chance, or just walking away and not entering.  Bowling is a sport where winning is not a sure thing.  Anyone has a chance to beat anyone else at any time.

I'd have to say if I got first place money in an event but didn't get an eagle because an employee of USBC bowled a higher score I wouldn't be real happy. I'd rather get second. But I know this will never happen.

To those saying the pros need some place to bowl, then why have all the rules about how many pros you can have on a team and that past PBA champions can't bowl together even if they no longer carry a card?

In many cases the "professional amateurs" gather bowlers from all over the country come together just for this tournament so why can't the pros put a team together?

And the fact that we all bowl for money doesn't make us very amateurish to me.

The USBC employee won't get an eagle either.  They only get to bowl for score.
