anyone know the airline policies on bowlign balls/weights etc, before they start charging you extra?  Also I thought I read about UPS having some kind of service for this - is this true?  any help is greatly appreciated.  doug

For you folks that are looking at shipping your stuff.  You better call ahead to you motel and check to see if there is a service charge.  I have been trying to figure this stuff out for 2 days.  My hotel will take my stuff and hold if for me till i get there but they are gonna charge me so much per pound. FED EX and UPS stores also seem to have a serivce charge to hold your stuff.    With all the checking i have done over 2 day BBE seems to be the cheapest to go with.
