2022 Registration and Fees
« on: February 25, 2021, 01:46:11 PM »
Just got an e-mail from the USBC.

Registration by squad coordinators opens March 1.

Individual registration March 29.

Entry fees are increasing $15 an event with 70% going to the prize fund and the rest to expenses. They don't say anything about all events so  I assume it is staying the same or maybe it is going up $15 as well.

I was thinking the same thing. It would be odd to not raise the AE fee while raising the others.

IMHO, AE should have the largest payout of all the events.

I'm guessing this is needed to make up in the coffers the money that was lost from those not able to make it this year due to everything being shut down..

I found 2022 rules and all events is still $15. Entry fee for all the events is now $225.

I'm wondering if the teams that decided to roll over their entry fees to 2022, before this announcement, will be grandfathered or will USBC make them cough up the difference?

I could see USBC going in either direction, but I would expect an announcement soon unless there is already one out there.
