« on: February 16, 2004, 09:16:20 PM »
Playing the middle of the land or the right side (since i am right handed) and what arrow. What is the best place to play i guess is what i am asking?  I Know if probably depends on my style of bowling, but i just want to know what everyone else do.

Here are the links to the oil pattern:

The statement is too broadbrush for just about anyone to answer. Here is what I would do to prepare for what you might see.

Learn to play at least the 3-4th arrows inside with not a ton of belly out maybe to 10-12. Learn to roll the gutter meaning anywhere from the 2-6 board. This shot can be speed and release sensitive but is still an option. Most people can play the track area so why work on what is already a given. Consistency of roll (tilt and axis) is something to pay attention to. A flat pattern will magnify these characteristics while a House shot will cover them. Make your spare ball go straight or as close as possible and be comfy shooting it anywhere on the lane. Be aggresive while not getting frustrated.

Good luck
