Played up 6 with a Particle Vendetta(aggressive drill) to create my own groove for first game in team and doubles as I was the the only one outside.After game one both sets switched to Red Vendetta(Leverage stacked pin below fingers).

Singles was a nightmare for me.NOTHING outside and very touchy inside shot.Ended up piping a Thing Lives up 3rd arrow and playing a spare game.

My partner has a lot more hand and was deep inside swinging it to 6 all three sets.He began Team and singles with XXXtreme and switched to Vertigo in team and Ace in doubles.Singles was Ace all three games.He kept his speed but did not hit it as hard as I've seen in the past.As long as he didn't really hit up on it he had area and carry all nine games.

We both had a nice look but my errors were magnified outside.Most valueble ball was plastic spare ball.

We had fresh oil for team and doubles(7AM)and found the shot demanding but playable.One note the big crankers used to dominating on THS struggled big time unless they took a little off the ball and stayed smooth.

BIG BONUS for me no Twister pins this year and hits were fair and predictable for the most part.

Other guys in our group did well with Ultimate Inferno(on fresh shot) Vertigo and Extreme.

Bowled on March 20 and 21st.

Didn’t shoot particularly well, about average for me at nationals. I had at least one low game each set and shot 1712 all events.

In the team event my best look was using a XXX factor playing 19 to about 14. I ended up shooting 580 with 3 opens, all splits.

In Doubles I used an Ebonite V2 clean that I scuffed lightly with a green scotch brite pad. Played fourth arrow swinging it to 12, left foot slide was on 35. Missed a few make able spares in this set but threw more strikes and shot 600.

In singles lost some reaction and got a few bad breaks and missed one make able spare. Splits did me in and shot in the 530’s.

I thought the lanes played a little tighter than in years past and the backends were not nearly as jumpy.

Our companion team had a player who is currently in 4th place in all events.

In team he was using an El Nino Gold playing 19 at the arrows and a breakpoint around 12. He shot 700 in team and cleaned up in brackets.  

In doubles and singles he was using a Gold Pro Rhino. They were far enough away I couldn’t see how he was playing the lanes. He missed two seven pins for spares in his last game or he would be in first in all events at this point.
